StarHazard - Cover (+Intro)

Two thousand years ago, when Ratchet banished Mr. Eye back to the netherverse, a young Nether just like Vendra and Neftin had escaped. This nether grew up in their dimension and became very hateful. Hating the one who banished his kind to the other dimension, he plotted revenge on Ratchet, 35 years passed and this Nether has fully grown and is now able to live without any armor and such. He then started experimenting. Even managed to open the portal to the so called “Lombax dimension” however what he found wasn't fur and big ears at all. What he found was were the giant creatures called leviathans came from who roamed several planets in the current dimension. He studied a lot there and found the ones who owned the dimension, the Nyracathors. Thousands were living there, they built their own civilization, rules, morals and more. Nyracathors are dragon-like creatures who are extremely intelligent and are able to talk, however they use telepathy since they don’t have the vocal cords for physical speech, they can even communicate with other creatures who are able to talk using this ability. Nyracathors are also able to communicate with other living beings through the use of body language and various sounds that they’re able to produce.

Two large tribes were at war, Nyracathors started disappearing in numbers along with many other creatures such as Basilisks, Grunthors and many others. After studying these creatures for years, the nether had a plan, he noticed that they had the ability to manipulate a wide variety of elements. The leviathan basilisk was able to manipulate electricity, the grunthor manipulated fire, etc. The Nyracathors had several elements they could control, but the two main ones were light and Shadow. So he planned to acquire DNA from the shadow leader and the light leader, managing to do so he created his own Nyracathor. 9 months he waited, he grew it inside a chamber. However, when the wings of this little one started to develop, they were missing the wing membranes. Despite this he kept going with his experiment. Eventually it matured enough to be released from the chamber and breathe on its own for the first time. The Nyracathor pup was a girl, he gave it a serial number like all his experiments. 444-Delta he called it, for short he called her Delta. She was quite weak and got sick easily. But as she matured more she got sick less frequently.

At the age of 50 Ratchet disappeared, people were looking for him for years, including Clank. 70 years passed with no sign of Ratchet anywhere, there were a few who knew where he was however, the nether who lived longer than others of his kind had taken Ratchet away and locked him up, and he got his revenge. Delta was tortured by many experiments throughout the years, however after a few years she got two caretakers: Zix and Scarley. They both called her Halo instead of Delta. After years she started acting more anti social, more angry than usual. Eventually she was somehow able to create her own wing membranes using water. She often flew around in the lab in an act of protest. She got angry many times, even destroying equipment of the man who created her. She felt no love or affection, the only ones she did care about were Zix and Scarley. Unfortunately after many years she got sick again, however this time it was fatal. Halo died at the age of 25 due to failures of her organs because she was a cross between two  completely different subclasses of Nyracathor. However, her creator knew she would be very valuable in the future so he used an extremely rare star, called a Novastar, to capture her soul, and he even managed to capture her powers. Nyracathors are leviathans, so he was able to capture her soul similar to how Ratchet captured other leviathan souls to sell to the Smuggler.

Hundreds of years passed. Scientists all across the universe started experimenting with people’s DNA, infusing them with leviathan DNA, often giving the ones who survived the procedure the power to manipulate elements just like leviathans. People usually were driven mad and got corrupted with power because of it, causing massive destruction and causing panic. However, some were able to control these powers and managed to live a somewhat normal life despite these abilities, they even had offspring who eventually got those powers as well. As the years passed by the laws got changed drastically due to these changes in people. The ones with these powers got banned everywhere, and were treated like terrorists. Anyone who had this DNA were called a starchild. But the ones who hated them called them monsters, freaks who shouldn’t exist.

The nether eventually went after the lombaxes. He kept himself alive by changing his body drastically. He only had one organ left of himself, his brain, most of his body parts were robotic. he even lost an eye due to Halo clawing it out, so he replaced it with a robotic one. When he went after the lombaxes, he was only looking for a new experiment. He laid waste with his own robot army and killed thousands, the lombaxes fought back as hard as they could but it wasn’t enough, in the end a large part of their city was destroyed, so they were forced to go somewhere else in the dimension. The nether took a child with him after he was done, a little girl named Alex. Of course she was merely a pawn in his bigger plans. Zix and Scarley can't help but take care of her, they played games with her, fed her, etc. However one night, Alex stole a few things from the lab, she stole an egg, a few other gizmos and the novastar. When she went back to her room she took care of the egg for days, hiding it so the nether didn’t see it, she was also looking for this star for hours, thinking it was a toy. Smoke inside the star rolled around when she moved it, like a hypnotizing toy that you would find in a doctor's office, however, after she fell asleep with it in her hands it got absorbed into her body, she woke up with excruciating pain and her body was changing, she saw the memories of the one that was trapped inside the star. Later on, she looked in the mirror and saw that she had changed dramatically: she got a long black tail, black and white coat and her hair was long and black instead of white. When the man saw what happened he got furious and wanted the star back, Alex was terrified and the man decided he would drain the powers straight out of her, when she got put inside of the machine at the age of 17, she resisted him for the first time, in a fit of rage Alex fought back when she was inside. However she awakened the monster this man had created himself. Alex changed once again while inside the chamber and broke out, she took the body of the Nyracathor that was called Halo. She got out of the laboratory, she snuck onto a ship and managed to get far away. When she got onto another planet she woke up back as a lombax again. She knew what happened but didn't know how she escaped, for 2 years she roamed the streets, along the way she found the group who were casted out just like she was, she became a skilled thief. She had stole some stuff from the laboratory before she left, including the creature that hatched from the egg and it became a very close companion to her. She helped this group by stealing from the rich and cruel people for the poor and the outcast who have been isolated from their world.

GUESS WHOS STARTING THE COMIC I ALWAYS WANTED TO MAKE???!!!!MEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEME I gladly present to you Starhazard!! Ill Do my best to keep the artstyle of the comic as much as steady as possible. Ofcourse depends on the mood i draw and what the senes are Right now The first page is being colored. the rest will be sketched when i get closer and closer of finishing it. Im really excited aaaaah!!
